STOCK Act trades where the member sits on a committee with direct jurisdiction over the traded company
Math Notes
A trade is flagged when the member currently sits on a committee whose mapped sector overlaps the traded issuer. This is a jurisdiction heuristic, not proof of access or intent.
High, medium, and low priority labels come from a heuristic score based on committee overlap, committee role, and trade-size midpoint. It is a ranking aid for triage, not a calibrated risk model.
Current mark-to-market average on priced buy trades only. It uses trades with available price coverage in the active window, so low denominators should be treated cautiously.
Committee-member average forward buy return minus non-member average forward buy return, using priced buys only, with jurisdiction threshold ≥ 0.50 and minimum n=5 priced buys per group.
Flagged trades divided by fetched trades in the current feed filters. It is a filtered-set rate, not a statement about all congressional trading.
Linked event means a durable `trade_event_links` row exists. Nearest known event is fallback context only and should be read more cautiously.
